Q: How much should I stretch before a workout?

A: For me, 4-5 minutes of a hearty warm-up helps to not only improve workout performance, but also prevent injury.

  1. supersgills answered: I typically do a brisk walk on the treadmill to get the blood flowing and continally stretch as I workout. I also do yoga on days off.
